Customer servicing?

I was at a chain craft supply store the other day & as I was checking out I handed the cashier a coupon I printed off their website. The cashier immediately asked me in a hushed voice, if I had another coupon on me. With a puzzled look on my face, I said "No, is there a problem with that one?" She said, "No, it's just that I really need one." I told her it could easily be printed off the internet. She said she didn't have the means to do so & asked me if I were coming back to the store, would I bring her a coupon." I told her I probably wasn't coming back to the store before the coupon expired since I was there that day and asked her why she needed one if she has an employee (with an employee discount). She said the discount wasn't much. As I was leaving, she asked me again to bring her a coupon when I came back.

Later that night I shared the odd experience with Bear and we both agreed it was strange. We likened it to giving a pizza delivery person a coupon & him asking if we had a coupon to spare.
